I wrote this as a personal email to my local tribe. I thought it was worth posting a portion of it publicly.
a love letter, a call, to the loves of my life–
i know it’s been a rough year.
i know sh** has been hitting the fan, the floor, the face, the ceiling.
i know it’s 90 degrees outside and you just want to say: f*** this awakening, it’s time for beer, beach, BBQ.
i know the story is: oh mags, i am SOoooooo busy, with: new job, new baby, new company, new relationship, my old issues from 1984 coming around and processing me into 3 weeks of depression.
“i’m tired of working so hard at it.”
“i’m tired of something not happening.”
“i needed a break.”
“i’m just not feelin it.”
i get that.
i love you all. SO. very. much. and i honor and appreciate and carry and have all of the above stories and excuses and experience.
and where we are at any given moment is perfect, obvi.
but Grace doesn’t show up by accident.
i am here to tell you there is a very marked and noticeable difference in the people who show up, who have been showing up.
no one was kidding. this awakening is happening, and it’s happening NOW.
these are figures released from my teachers in India the other week:
People Awakened are over 40,000
People living in the presence are over 80,000
People in Awakened states are over 32 million
People experiencing the presence are over 72 million
This year my teachers released something called the Oneness Meditation. You can stream these online, from your couch for free, anywhere in the world. It takes about an hour and you do nothing. Couldn’t be easier.
To do it in person is 1000x more powerful (side note, that is a ‘Mags’ guesstimate figure, not an official designation from anyone with real knowledge or influence…)

so, as a friend, a love, an inadvertent family member, as a oneness cheerleader, let me tell you:: you gotta be there.
i know you’re busy. but you have one sunday afternoon + monday evening to offer to your awakening, your bliss, your freedom. truly, you do. you can find an hour + a half to make it to at least one session. you can.
and i’m going to ask you a favor. bring someone new. tell them it’s the Universe, streaming, in your face. they’ll want to come, but they won’t know about it unless you tell them. if you’re not in nyc, go find one where you are. if you are in California, well, you lucky duck, you have a gajillion meditators there, so get to it, sunshine. or do it from your couch, like I do, ‘cause I’m lazy like that.
Oh and BTW: no one makes a dime off of these: not the trainers, organizers, meditators, teachers. my personal enthusiasm is all motivated by pure selfishness– because i cannot help you without in turn helping myself. my love and light burns brightly in the world only when yours does.
get to it. your enlightenment is waiting for you.
